1. Data controller
The controller is Lingo Olé – Szkoła Językowa, ul. Benjamina Bilsego 7/7, 59-220 Legnica, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 6912580800. Contact: info@lingo-ole.pl, phone / WhatsApp +48 785 497 031. This notice covers the website and contact with the school.
2. Information collected
The form collects your name, email, optional phone, chosen language and course audience, availability and message. We do not require children’s personal details or health information. Please do not enter sensitive data. Hosting security logs may contain an IP address, request time and browser details, depending on the host’s configuration.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Course enquiries and consultation arrangements are processed under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) where necessary to take steps you request before a contract. Other correspondence uses Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Contracts and lessons use Article 6(1)(b); legal and accounting duties use Article 6(1)(c); security, abuse prevention and claims use Article 6(1)(f).
An enquiry is not marketing consent. There is currently no newsletter registration. Any future consent-based marketing would require a separate, voluntary choice that can be withdrawn.
4. Voluntary provision and children
Providing information is voluntary, but we cannot reply without contact details and a message. Parents or guardians should send enquiries about children using their own details. Information required for a course contract is collected separately.
5. Recipients
Authorised staff and service providers receive only the information needed for their tasks. The planned Hostinger production website uses its hosting and enquiry database, plus the configured email service. Providers processing information on our behalf require appropriate arrangements.
Separate school processes may use Google Workspace, wFirma, Cambridge One, BlinkLearning and accounting or IT providers. WhatsApp is a separate, optional contact channel. Website forms do not automatically send enquiries to ActiveNow, education platforms or social media.
The private ChatGPT preview uses OpenAI / Cloudflare infrastructure and platform sign-in. It is separate from the planned Hostinger production website.
6. International transfers
Some providers, including Google, Meta / WhatsApp or the private preview platform, may process information outside the EEA. Where this occurs, the relevant mechanism must be established for the provider, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact the school for information about the safeguards used.
7. Retention
Website inbox enquiries are kept for no more than 12 months from submission, then removed from the active enquiry database. Information needed for a contract or claims should first be transferred to the appropriate records, which follow their own retention rules. Contract, tax and accounting records are retained for applicable statutory periods and limitation periods. Hosting backup and log retention must be confirmed with the host. Browser privacy preferences last six months.
8. Your rights
Where applicable under the GDPR, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact info@lingo-ole.pl. You may complain to Poland’s President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).
9. Security and automated decisions
The enquiry inbox is restricted to the administrator. The website uses HTTPS and form validation. We do not use form data for marketing profiling or solely automated decisions with legal effects.
10. Cookies and external links
This version runs no tracking analytics or advertising. Only necessary privacy-preference storage and administrator sign-in mechanisms are used. See the Cookie Policy and reopen settings from the footer. Maps, WhatsApp and Lingo Lounge are links, not automatically embedded services. Their own policies apply after you leave this website. Fonts and images are hosted locally. This policy may be updated when services or processes change.
